Do I need a partner to sign up?
No. Most people sign up alone. We change partners during the lessons so everyone gets to dance and learn together. It's okay not to change partners if you don't want to.What is a Leader and what is a Follower?
Tango is danced with a leader and a follower together. As a “couple”. A leader initiates a movement and a follower responds to it. The more we delve into Tango, the more we change the boundaries.Do I have to Lead/Follow?
You take the role you want. You can also switch roles or learn both during your journey. Our teaching is based on everyone trying everything.Is there always an even number of Leaders/Followers?
We teach Tango in a way where everyone can dance both. If there is an odd number of us in roles, we take turns changing.What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes that you can move in. You can dance in socks or indoor shoes. Preferably with hard soles.I've never danced – is that okay?

The “Base Colors” classes are tailored for both new and experienced dancers. As a regular dancer, you’ve probably heard that the most important thing is to have a solid foundation to stand on. The same applies here 🙂Can I try a class before I book?

A deep discussion can feel intimate.Dancing is about sharing a moment with someone else. Neither more nor less
Do you only dance with your love partner?
You dance with the ones you are comfortable with. Many people dance with different people but it is ok not to do that. You do it your way. Tango is an exchange between two individuals. It is a bit like having a deep and rewarding conversation where you get to know someone deeply. And you are allowed to talk to whoever you want.You can get to know someone deeply without having to exchange words.
Who is Tango for?
Everyone. Short or tall, older or young, introvert or extrovert.Is there a lot of Tango near Lund/Malmö?
Yes. Just between Lund/Malmö there are "social dances" about 4-5 times a week almost all year round. Then you also have the whole of Skåne/Sweden/the world to explore!"social dances" are called practilonga or milonga
What does one do at a "social dance"?
Some dance non-stop. Others spend all their time talking and having coffee with the friends they have made. Some want to sit alone and just watch. The common thread is that we all get a break from social media doom scrolling and everyone does what they feel like doing. Together.
